Dyson DC41 Key Specs Explained
Weight: 26.7 pounds
This weight classifies the DC41 as a heavy upright vacuum. You will need more effort to push it across carpets than lighter stick models. However, the mass can help with deep cleaning on thick pile rugs. Compare this to cordless sticks that often weigh under 10 pounds. The trade-off is suction power versus portability. You should consider if you prioritize deep cleaning over easy maneuverability for daily chores.
Height: 36.4 inches
The tall profile allows you to clean under most standard furniture without bending over. This is useful for reaching under beds or sofas. Stick vacuums are often shorter, making them easier to store in tight closets. The height may make it harder to store in small spaces. You should measure your storage area. This dimension helps you determine if it fits your home layout and cleaning habits.
Width: 11.5 inches
The 11.5-inch width offers a moderate cleaning path. It is wider than many handheld units but narrower than some commercial vacuums. This size balances coverage speed with maneuverability around furniture legs. You will cover floor area efficiently without missing spots. Compare this to narrower stick vacuums that require more passes. The width helps you clean larger rooms faster while maintaining control in tight spaces.
Length: 10.7 inches
The compact depth helps the vacuum navigate around obstacles and into tight corners. You can steer it easily around chair legs and table bases. This dimension complements the Ball technology for precise steering. Stick vacuums often have similar footprints. The shallow design reduces the chance of knocking over nearby items. You will find it easier to clean around cluttered floor areas without constant repositioning.

Storage And Power Needs For DC41
The Dyson DC41 Animal Upright Vacuum is a heavy, corded machine. It does not fit the cordless or stick vacuum category. You will need a dedicated storage spot for its 36.4-inch height and 26.7-pound weight. Check your home for wide doorways and hallways to ensure easy transport. The unit relies on strong suction and Radial Root Cyclone technology. You must empty the dust bin regularly to maintain airflow. The self-adjusting cleaner head works on hard floors and carpets.
