Key specs for Dyson V15 Detect Pro
Power Type: Cordless
This vacuum operates without a power cord, giving you freedom to move between rooms and floors without hunting for outlets. You can clean stairs, ceilings, and tight spaces without tripping over cables. This design suits multi-story homes or large apartments where moving a heavy unit with a cord is inconvenient. When shopping, check if the battery life meets your typical cleaning session length.
Weight: 6.8 pounds
At 6.8 pounds, this unit is lightweight enough to carry upstairs or hold overhead for extended periods without causing arm fatigue. This weight class is ideal for users who prioritize ease of use over heavy-duty commercial durability. Heavier models may offer more suction but can become tiring quickly. Compare this weight against other stick vacuums to ensure it fits your physical comfort level.
Height: 49.6 inches
The 49.6-inch height allows you to clean floor surfaces while standing upright, reducing the need to bend over. This ergonomic design protects your back during long cleaning sessions. It is tall enough to clear under most standard furniture but compact enough for storage in closets. Measure your under-furniture clearance to ensure this height works for your specific home layout.
Width: 9.8 inches
A 9.8-inch width provides a balanced cleaning path that is wide enough to cover floor area efficiently but narrow enough to maneuver around furniture legs. This size helps you clean under sofas and chairs without excessive effort. Wider models may clean faster but struggle in cluttered rooms. Consider your home's layout and furniture density when evaluating this dimension.
