Who it fits

Key specs explained for this model

Suction: 24KPa

This rating indicates the air pressure strength the motor generates. You get enough force to lift dry crumbs, dust, and pet hair from hard floors and upholstery. The listing notes two speed modes, so you can adjust this power for lighter tasks or deeper debris. This level of suction suits quick daily cleanups rather than heavy soil removal.

Dust cup: 500ml

This volume tells you how much debris the internal container holds before needing to be emptied. A 500ml capacity allows for several minutes of continuous cleaning on small messes without stopping. You can empty it easily after each use to maintain hygiene. This size is practical for cars and small rooms, though large areas may require more frequent dumping.

Dimensions: 17.9 x 11.2 x 13 inches

These measurements describe the physical footprint of the handheld unit. The height and width determine how easily it fits into tight spaces like car interiors or behind furniture. The length affects how comfortably you can hold it with one hand. This compact form factor makes it easy to store in closets or dashboards without taking up much room.

Suitable for: Pet Hair

This attribute confirms the vacuum is designed to handle animal fur effectively. You can use it on pet beds, couches, and car seats to remove loose hair. The suction and filter system work together to trap fine dander and larger strands. This makes it a practical tool for households with cats or dogs that shed regularly.

Design and build overview

The HawKam CA038 arrives in an Aqua finish, with a Dark Black option also available. According to the listing, the unit measures 17.9 inches in height, 11.2 inches in width, and 13 inches in length. This compact footprint allows you to store it easily in car trunks, RV compartments, or tight closet spaces. The lightweight body is designed to be lifted and operated with one hand, which simplifies quick cleanups on stairs, car seats, and keyboard desks. The 2-in-1 crevice tool extends the reach to edges and between seats, addressing common hard-to-reach spots without requiring a larger machine.

The layout centers around a 500ml dust cup that is straightforward to empty. A washable HEPA filter sits within the system, making maintenance simpler than replacing disposable filters. You control the suction via two speed modes, switching between standard cleaning and max power as needed. The included charging dock keeps the unit ready for use, eliminating the need to hunt for outlets or manage tangled cords. This setup supports its role as a tool for renters, pet parents, and car owners who need to tackle everyday dry messes like crumbs, dust, and pet hair. It is not designed for deep carpet cleaning or wet spills, so you should use it on dry surfaces and empty the cup after each session. The design prioritizes portability and immediate access for light, frequent tasks rather than heavy-duty restoration work.

Setup and everyday use

Setup is straightforward because the unit arrives ready to charge. You place the handheld vacuum on the included charging dock. This dock keeps the device powered and organized without needing a separate wall outlet. The listing confirms the dock is part of the package, ensuring the vacuum is never dead when you need it. This eliminates the hassle of hunting for cords or waiting for a full charge before your first use.

Daily use centers on quick, dry cleanups. The 24KPa suction rating provides enough air pressure to lift crumbs, dust, and pet hair from hard floors, upholstery, and car seats. You can adjust the power using two speed modes, switching between standard cleaning and max power for tougher messes. The 500ml dust cup allows you to collect debris without frequent emptying. The washable HEPA filter helps maintain suction over time and makes cleaning the unit simple.

The design supports versatile placement. You can stash the lightweight body in your car, RV, or closet. The 2-in-1 crevice tool reaches between seats and along edges, making it suitable for rideshare drivers, apartment dwellers, and pet owners. You can clean couch cushions, keyboard desks, and stair corners with ease. Keep in mind this is a compact handheld vacuum for everyday spills and light messes. It is not designed for deep carpet cleaning or wet spills. For best results, use it on dry surfaces and empty the dust cup after each use.

Before You Buy This Handheld

You should consider what this handheld vacuum fits into your existing cleaning routine. It is not a full-size upright, so you will likely still need a stick or canister model for deep carpet cleaning and large area rugs. Use this HawKam CA038 for quick dry messes in cars, on upholstery, or around pet beds. It is not designed for wet spills, so keep it away from liquid accidents. The washable HEPA filter requires regular rinsing to maintain suction. Empty the 500ml dust cup after each use to prevent clogs. Check that your vehicle’s 12V outlet or home power source matches the charging dock’s requirements. This compact unit complements larger cordless stick vacuums by handling spot cleanups between deep sessions. It suits renters and pet owners who need portable power without the bulk of a full system.

Check before you buy

• Confirm it is for dry messes only, not wet spills.
• Verify the charging dock fits your car or home outlet.
• Plan to empty the 500ml cup after every use.
• Ensure you have a larger vacuum for deep carpet cleaning.
• Check that the 24KPa suction suits your typical debris size.
