Who it fits

Key specs explained for you

Maximum Runtime: 50 min

This rating indicates the vacuum can run for up to 50 minutes on Eco mode using the crevice tool. You get extended cleaning time for whole-home use without frequent recharging. Note that higher suction modes like Turbo reduce this to 10 minutes. Compare this against other cordless models to ensure it meets the square footage of your home.

Weight: 3.2 pounds

At 3.2 pounds, this unit is lightweight for a stick vacuum. You can easily maneuver it upstairs or overhead without straining your arm. This low weight reduces fatigue during longer cleaning sessions. When shopping, compare this figure with heavier canister-style cordless vacuums that may exceed 6 pounds for better portability.

Dust Bin Size: 0.85L

The 0.85-liter dust bin offers a moderate capacity for debris. You will need to empty it more often than with larger 1-liter bins, but it keeps the vacuum compact. This size is suitable for small to medium homes. Check this volume against larger models if you clean large areas or have heavy pet hair accumulation.

Filtration Type: HEPA

HEPA filtration captures fine dust and allergens, preventing them from leaking back into your home. This is crucial for households with allergy sufferers or pets. The 5-stage system enhances this protection. Compare this with non-HEPA models to ensure you are getting true air purification benefits rather than just basic debris collection.

Power Type: Cordless

Being cordless means you have unrestricted movement without dragging a power cable. You can clean stairs, corners, and upholstery easily. This offers convenience over corded vacuums that require outlet hunting. Compare this with corded options if you prioritize constant power over mobility, though most modern stick vacuums now offer this flexibility.

Design and Build Overview

The Levoit VortexIQ features an Arctic White finish and measures 43.3 inches in height, 9.8 inches in length, and 7.7 inches in width. It weighs 3.2 pounds. The compact footprint makes it easy to maneuver in tight spaces. The self-standing design lets you pause cleaning without leaning the unit against a wall. This layout suits busy households that need quick access to the vacuum.

According to the listing, the unit includes a 0.85L dust bin. This capacity reduces how often you must empty the canister during larger cleaning jobs. The vacuum also lays flat at 180 degrees. This specific angle allows you to slide the head under beds, sofas, and low furniture. It helps reach hidden dust and pet hair in areas that are usually hard to access.

The handle and body are constructed for cordless operation. The model number is LSV-V221-VUSR. The design prioritizes reach and storage convenience. You can use the included wall-mounted charging dock for tidy storage. The straightforward build focuses on utility rather than complex aesthetics. This approach keeps the vacuum light and easy to move from room to room.

Setup and everyday use guide

Setting up the Levoit VortexIQ is straightforward. The unit arrives ready for immediate use with a wall-mounted charging dock included for storage. You simply place the vacuum on the dock to charge. The self-standing design allows you to pause cleaning and leave the unit upright without leaning it against a wall. This feature saves space and keeps the vacuum accessible for quick tasks.

Daily use is defined by its 43.3-inch height and 3.2-pound weight. The lightweight build makes it easy to maneuver around furniture and carry up stairs. The 0.85L dust bin size helps reduce how often you need to empty it during larger cleaning sessions. The washable filters mean you can maintain performance without buying replacements frequently.

For floor care, the NeoSight Green Light technology highlights dust and pet hair by making them appear larger under wide-angle illumination. This helps you see hidden debris on hard floors. The Anti-Tangle TripleStrike roller brush is designed to prevent hair wrap, which reduces the need to cut hair from the brush manually. The 180° lay-flat design allows you to slide the vacuum under beds and sofas. This reaches areas that are typically difficult to access. The 5-stage HEPA filtration captures fine dust and allergens, preventing them from leaking back into the air. This makes it suitable for homes with pets, as it targets pet hair and dander effectively.

Before you buy this vacuum

You should check if your home has low-pile carpets or hard floors, as this unit targets those surfaces. The 0.85L dust bin requires regular emptying, especially if you clean pet hair daily. Washable filters mean you can rinse them instead of buying replacements, but you must ensure they are completely dry before reinstalling. The 180-degree lay-flat feature is useful for under-bed cleaning, but verify your furniture height exceeds the vacuum's clearance. Since it weighs 3.2 pounds, you can easily carry it upstairs. Compare this model to the VortexIQ Pro or MAX if you need longer runtime in Turbo mode. This option suits those prioritizing anti-tangle tech and green light dust detection over raw suction power in high-pile rugs.

Check before you buy

• Verify your furniture height allows the 180-degree lay-flat feature to reach underneath.
• Confirm you have hard floors or low-pile carpets for optimal suction performance.
• Check if you prefer washable filters to reduce ongoing maintenance costs.
• Ensure you need the NeoSight green light for detecting hidden dust particles.
