Who it fits
Good fit for
This model suits you if you live in an apartment, dorm, or mid-sized home with mixed hard floors and carpets. The 5-pound weight and self-standing frame make it convenient if you need to pause frequently during quick cleanups. It also fits pet owners who need dedicated tools, as it includes a pet hair brush and a 6-stage HEPA filtration system that targets 99.97% of dust and debris.
Who should skip it
You should skip this vacuum if you manage a large home requiring continuous deep cleaning on high suction. The 45-minute runtime applies only to Eco mode, so running the 480W motor on higher suction settings will deplete the single 2600mAh battery much faster. Buyers looking for an automated surface sensor or continuous corded power will also need to consider other models with larger battery capacities.
Verdict: The NuYupo DHC100 combines a 480W brushless motor, lightweight 5-pound build, and practical attachments for everyday floor and upholstery maintenance. It offers solid versatility for apartments and standard homes, provided the 45-minute maximum runtime matches your cleaning routines.
Key specs explained for this model
Maximum Runtime: 45 min
The listing states the battery lasts up to 45 minutes in Eco mode. This duration allows you to clean multiple rooms or an entire apartment on a single charge. You should note that higher suction settings will reduce this time. This runtime is suitable for standard homes. Larger houses may require a recharge mid-clean. Compare this figure with other models to ensure it meets your square footage needs without frequent interruptions.
Power Type: Cordless
This unit operates without a power cord, offering unrestricted movement around furniture and stairs. You can carry it from room to room without unplugging or managing a long cable. This feature is ideal for quick cleanups or hard-to-reach areas like car interiors. It eliminates tripping hazards associated with cords. Consider this convenience if you prefer flexible cleaning routines over the constant power supply of a plug-in model.
Power Modes: 3 modes
The vacuum offers three distinct suction levels, controlled via the touch screen. You can switch between modes to match the floor type or dirt level. Use lower power for delicate surfaces or extended runtime, and higher power for deep carpet cleaning. This flexibility helps you balance cleaning performance with battery conservation. Check if other models offer similar customization, as this feature adds versatility to your daily cleaning tasks.
Filtration Type: HEPA
The device uses a HEPA filter system to trap fine dust and allergens. The data claims it filters 99.97% of fine particles. This is beneficial for households with pets or allergy sufferers, as it reduces airborne dust. You should clean the filter regularly to maintain this efficiency. Compare this filtration standard with other vacuums to ensure it meets your health requirements for clean air output during operation.
