Shark Navigator Key Specs Explained
Weight: 12.5 pounds
This weight makes the vacuum easy to carry upstairs or move between rooms. You can lift the detachable pod for stairs without straining your back. Compare this to heavier uprights that stay fixed on the floor. Lighter models help you clean high areas like ceilings or shelves. Heavier units often offer more power but sacrifice portability for above-floor tasks.
Filtration Type: HEPA
HEPA filters trap fine dust and allergens inside the machine. This prevents them from blowing back into your air. It helps keep your home cleaner for allergy sufferers. When shopping, check if the seal is complete to ensure no leaks. Standard filters may let small particles escape, reducing indoor air quality compared to sealed HEPA systems.
Size: 15 in L x 11.4 in W x 45.5 in H
These dimensions determine how the vacuum fits in your storage space. The height allows for upright storage in closets. The width affects how easily it passes between furniture legs. Compare these measurements to your closet depth and door width. Compact footprints help you tuck the unit away neatly when not in use.

Before You Buy This Upright
This Shark Navigator Lift-Away NV352 is a corded upright vacuum. You should verify your home has sufficient electrical outlets for its corded operation. Unlike the cordless models on this page, it offers continuous power without runtime limits. You will need to empty the dust cup regularly to maintain suction performance. Check that your stairs fit the Lift-Away pod dimensions for portable cleaning. The HEPA filter requires periodic replacement to keep allergens trapped. This unit sits alongside stick vacuums in your comparison list. Choose it if you prioritize raw suction power and deep carpet cleaning over battery freedom. It suits large homes with mixed flooring where corded reliability matters more than portability. Ensure you have storage space for its 45.5-inch height.
